Amendment to Rules Allows Trust Accounts in Credit Unions
On November 9, 2017 the Florida Supreme Court issued an opinion amending the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar
Among others, Bar Rule 5-1.1 (Trust Accounts) has been amended to allow lawyers to maintain trust accounts in federally insured credit unions.
The amendments shall become effective on February 1, 2018, at 12:01 a.m.
