The Florida Bar’s free CLE hub puts 100+ courses in one place
Looking for free CLE? The Florida Bar has a webpage that puts 100+ courses and other free CLE resources in one place.
TFB Free CLE was created to make it easier for members to find free educational content produced by Bar sections, programs, and committees.
Bar Communications staff member Sue Ray, who oversaw development of the webpage, said Bar entities produce a wealth of free CLE, but the courses had been scattered among section websites, Bar program and committee pages, YouTube, and other locations.
“We wanted to aggregate these courses in one place to better serve members and showcase the excellent work of the Bar’s sections, programs, and committees,” Ray said.
Members can browse the free offerings by six categories:
- Certification (40)
- Ethics (15)
- General (104)
- Professionalism (35)
- Technology (9)
The content includes courses and programs from the Henry Latimer Center for Professionalism and a variety of Bar committees and sections, including the Florida Registered Paralegal Enrichment, Government Advocacy, and Legal Needs of Children committees, as well as the Administrative Law, Business Law, Government Lawyer, Labor & Employment Law, Public Interest Law, Real Property & Probate, and Solo & Small Firm sections.
The webpage also links members to LegalFuel for free CLE focused on the business side of law practice, as well as to the Bar’s paid, on-demand CLE offerings.
The free CLE hub grew out of the Bar’s effort to make its growing collection of online educational resources easier for members to find.
Members can explore the Bar’s free CLE offerings at TFB Free CLE.
