DESCRIPTION

Join us for a fascinating conversation on AI in the courtroom with Judge Scott Schlegel and FSU law professor Rich Harper. In this one-hour conversation, Judge Schlegel will share his insights from the bench on modernizing the justice system, the challenges involved, and how both simple technologies and AI can improve court efficiency and access. He will also talk about the future role that AI and other technologies may play in the courtroom.

Judge Scott Schlegel was elected to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal in 2023. During Judge Schlegel’s decade on the trial court, he designed and managed what may be one of the most advanced courts in the country for delivering justice online.
