The Florida Bar warns its members about a fraudulent email with the subject “The Office of The State Attorney Complaint” that is being distributed.
The Bar advises members not to click on any links contained within the email and to delete it immediately. It is suspected that this email contains a link to a malicious software known as Ransomware.

The fraudulent email informs members that “a complaint has been filed against your business” and asks the recipient to click on a link to review the complaint.

If you open an attachment or click a link within an email that you suspect is malicious, contact your technical support person or help desk immediately.
