Scam Artists May Use Your Social Media to Make Their Emails More Convincing. Remain Skeptical About Any Unsolicited Emails.

Scam artists may use the information you post on social media accounts to make their phishing emails seem more legitimate. As an example, one common scam is to use your grandmother’s name in an email and claim that she has gotten into financial trouble and needs you to wire her money.
